March Wantables Intimate Review

I was under the impression I added this box already, I recieved it last week.  I guess I overlooked it when I was mass posting my other boxes.  As they say, save the best for last.

I have always looked forward to this box for the past three months.  I have learned how to work the interest survey in my favor.  This box has some nice pieces to loung in and feel a little sexy in.  Since it is late, the details may not be included - paper has been misplaced.  I'll be better next time.

Two pairs of panties.

A lacy blue nightie from St.Eve.  This was wantables' company of the month.  Love the color and the feel.

This was a surprise shirt for me.  I picked loungewear this month.  At first I was not impressed - the shirt was a large and very bland.  After reading the description, it made since, it was to be used for a work out or bed shirt.  It is so soft and meant to be a little snug...the large is loose enough for me where I feel I can wear it out with a pair of jeans and jacket.

Unpacking Impressions: I was impressed with how I was able to get items that I needed and wanted this month in my box.  I will use all of these items from this box.  I love the quality of these items.

March Style Box by Socialbliss Review

This is a new subscription company that began sending out boxes in January.  The reason I got involved in all these boxes was to explore my fashion and style sense.  Looking at the reviews for February convinced me that this box will become a bridge to meet my goals.  I was impressed that this box came to me within a week and I was able to be completely surprised with what was inside.

Here is the box, it was nice and large.  When I flipped the box over to take off the tape, I found the warning: Contents can cause style transformation.  Excitement overtook me and I dove into the box quickly - taking pictures as I went to share with you.

I refused to look at the booklet until I was able to see everything in the box first and oogle over each item.  When I had questions, I opened up the book.  Paris in the spring is always a great idea (visited March 2012).  The beauty/fashion world is a little overwhelming and out of my comfort zone.  I am very appreciative of the hints they give for each item.

I am going to start with the goodies first before exploring the big ticket item. Avon's La Baumes Pour Les Leveres (lip gloss) to ensure that the winter damage is moisturized and healed for some French kissing.  South of France's French Milled Lemon Verbena is a very nice smelling soap.  They suggest to take it on a trip or use it in the morning to create a refreshing experience.

Flourishing in Florals Headband- As soon as I found this in my box, I put it on.  I recently chopped off 16 inches of my hair to donate for Locks for Love.  Styling my short locks has been a little bit more difficult for me and I have been enjoying headbands to keep my hair from covering my face.

Eco-Chic Beauty Brush Set - This is beautifully crafted and nice to use.  I love that the package is easily washable.

Now, the big ticket item...I was excited to rip off the bag it was in and look at it right away.  This amazing Mattie Bag by Melie Bianco screams luxury, Paris, class, and romance.  I have to attend two weddings next month, this will be paired with my dresses.  I looked for a strap, my friend looked and found nothing.  At first, I thought it was a forgotten item and checked other blogs to see if this is the case.  The designer intentionally did not include it for the box, for it was to be a true handbag.  Socialbliss is currently selling the strap for $4.  I do perfer the strap for safety reasons, however I think I am going to keep true to the designers wishes.  One of the features I love is the brown and white polka-dot liner creating numerous compartments in the bag.  (Sorry that the bottom picytre is sideways, it was the only way I was able to place the picture of the front of the bag)

Unpacking Impressions: I love it!  All of it.  I never thought a box could really capture an entire theme and impact my couriousity to ensure that I uphold the warning to transform my sense of beauty. I have subscribed for next month.

March Popsugar Must Have Box Review

This is my second box from this subscription company.  It sparked my interest when I realized that it has a 'Must Have' for the contemporary working ladies.  After receiving my first box, I subscribed for a six month plan - to save $25 on my boxes.  This box takes 12-15 days to get to me, and it is hard not to see a peek what was inside before I got it in person.  I was able to share my box opening experierince with a newbie to this box - good times!

Here is a look at the box and what it looks like before the tissue paper is opened.  I didn't peak at the booklet ( I am a nerd, I want to know the why's about everything - I have to admit as soon as we ripped into the box and handled everything I grabbed the book and read cover to cover).

The theme this month is to put some spring into your step.  It all starts with peeling back the tissue paper and revealing the goodies inside:

Must Have Fashion: Brokedown Blue Ikat Scarf - This soft scarf is very long and stylish for the Spring.  I can't wait to wear this in an up and coming trip to the mainland in late April.  What I like about this scarf is that it was made exclusively for this box.

Must Have Fashion: Dogeared Lucky Horseshoe Make A Wish Necklace - This is my favorite piece in this amazing box.  I love the idea of wearing this and when the silk breaks your wish is made...I just don't want to loose the necklace.

Must Have Beauty: Jurlique Herbal Recovery Advanced Serum -  I have been using this serum every day.  It is light and not oily.

Must Have Home: Baublebar Elephant Ring Tree - another favorite!  I demonstrated this for my friend, mainly because I knew it was going next to my bed and use it.

Must Have Fitness: Activeforever Fusion Excercise Ball - I love that this was in here, I was hoping to try it out.  Check out these exercise you could do with this great fitness tool: must have.popsugar.com/blog.

Must Have Food and Special Extra:  I paired the Harvest Snapea Crisps and the Nature's Bakery Strawberry Fig Bar together because they are both food treats.  The Snapeas are good! A little go a long way and they are a little salty for me, but the bag was empty by the snack eater, D.  I had the fig bar for breakfast, it was ok, I perfer figs to strawberry for this.

Unpacking Impresion: I will use everything in this box, which is always a plus.  I believe that this box is becoming one of my favorites.

March Escape Monthly Review

This has become one of my favorite boxes.  This month I was able to travel the the isle of the four leaf clover- Ireland.  My traveling companion was visiting me the day this box came in, and we were just about to go explore my beautiful little town.  As we were getting I to thr car, the mail lady dropped off this box.  We ran into thr house and opened it up quickly to explore the Emerald Isle.

Once again this box was quite heavy.  I everything in here will be consumed by my family.  One of my favorite things about this box is the list of goodies they have included:

This month they included some yummy items:

Today, D and I are going on a picnic and will be enjoying the shortbread cookies and truffle bar.  I saw that there was a variety of the truffle bar, mint would have been a nice treat to try.  I am looking forward to make the soda bread with my nieces on a day they come over.

I am both a coffee and tea drinker, depending on my mood and time of day.  I love the can for the coffee, the next time we take out the French press I will give this a try.  I enjoy milk with my black tea, maybe when we have an afternoon get together or book club, I will share this my friends.

I love the shamrock seeds and will keep them for my own garden.  The Human + Kind Family Remedy Cream works great.  It is a all in one fix it all for scars, sunburn, rash and much make.  We were at the beach the day before and experienced the amazing powers of the Hawaiian rays.  The cream works well with moisturizing the dry burnt skin.

I love travel books.  I really like how this is technically not a travel book, but rather an inside perspective on living in Ireland.  When I travel, I like trying to fit in and enjoy a couple of days as if I am living there on a long term trip, rather than visit all of the touristy places in a rush with all the other tourists.

Unpacking Impresion:  Escape Monthly outdid themselves this month.  They strategically sent out the boxes on St. Patrick's Daynd arrived quickly to me by the end of the week.  A couple of days after the box was sent out, they gave an additional coupon of 60% off for the Cream.  If your interested in this box, you can receive your first box with 20% off and for the life of your subscription with MEXICOESCAPE.  Next month, it am looking forward what treats from Mexico will bring.

Prince Kuhio Day

Last week was Spring Break, exciting adventures in lounging, hanging out and opening boxes.  My BFF came in from the East coast to enjoy our monsoon weather here on the beautiful Big Island.  Friends were sharing there three to five inches of snow, while we were watching TV on a sunny day.

Now that a week of break is over, there is a holiday mid-week.  Now I can catch up on all the things I was procrastinating on last week and feel productive.  Expect to find some box postings up by the end of the day!

A hui hou!

Splendies March 2014

This is my second package from Splendies. This has been one of my favorite packages, who doesn't like a set of three panties that are only $12.  I like the tastefulness of how they send the package in an untitled/identifiable bag.  When you open it and pull the tissue paper from the bag, excitement stires as I unwrap the colorful paper to expose the unmentables.

.

As today is St. Patrick's day, the green shamrock was nice to see.  I was interested in the geometric design that was peeking through the papers.

The first pair is yello boy shorts with a fun geometric pattern in Orange and Yellow by Vision.    The next pair by Spreegirl, made from bamboo with yellow trimmed lace. These look comfortable and sexy at the same time.    Love Libby's green March themed thong, fits well with this over all bag.

Unpacking Impression: I am sold on this subscription for $12 a month.  I love all three of these classy, sexy and comfortable panties.  Try your first month for $8 with the code SPLENDIES.

Wantables Accessory March 2014

Wantable is a multi- service subscription box company specializing in make-up, accessories and intimates.  This is the box that started me on this journey, which makes me so excited when I see the box in the mailbox.

New style of box this month, very stylish.  They also had a sticker on the inside of the box stating that the box was packaged for me.  Love the 'Hello Again!' The first item is a list of my loves, likes and dislikes.

After removing my list, I was able to discover the nice velvet bags and a pair of glasses.

Hullabaloo Sunglasses - I was excited to see these in my box.  They are fun, the card suggested to pair it up with turquoise jewlery and some color to add contrast to the black and white.

Carol Bracelet - This bracelet will spice up a simple shirt with the pearls and silver.

Jet Bracelet - These four bracelets will add a bit of flare to any outfit that has color in it.

Cristina Earrings- Out of everything this was my favorite item.  I have been looking forward to a pair of earrings.  After looking  at these, I noticed that theya re different lengths- I looked at the shorter one thinking that it was twisted somewhere, however it is not, they are designed differently.  I emailed customer support- showed them a picture of the earrings and my observations, they sent me another item.

Hanna Watch- This watch are to me three days after receiving my last box as an Oops! For the earrings.  I was impressed that this item was sent.

Unpacking Imoression: I feel that this box has more items that I perfer and liked that nothing was too cheap or gaudy looking.  All of the times received retailed $98, including the watch.  This box only cost $36 for a monthly subscription.

Unpacking The Little Black Bag box

After previewing a couple of reviews about Little Black Blag, I convinced myself that I needed have a new purse.  This is a subscription box with a twist.  You become a VIP member for $10 a month, with the ability to skip.  You view items at a reduced price and they send out tons of coupons to use.  After picking out the item you want for your bag, they may add other items to your bag too.  You then have seven days to trade all if your items for someone else's.  I am still figuring out how to do it.

I was very excited to see this box in my living room.  It took over a month to reach me!  As you can see, someone was also excited to see a box.

First look when opening up the box.

Nicely packaged and everything was kept nice and safe on its long trip.

This is the new bag I chose, a London Fog Blake Satchel.  I love that it has three sections to put my goodies.  I know I will use this on my travels.

These two items were chosen for me.  I was not sure how to trade and I just wanted my purse, so I went with these two items.  The first, geranium Circle Bow Stud Earrings, are not real me.  My mom or a friend might (please tell me).  The second, Nicka K New York Magnetic Polish, looked like it was already opened or was near a bottle already opened.

Unpacking Impression: This box was purchased on Super Bowl Sunday and arrived on March 4th.  The customer service was very nice to work with and told me it takes a while for items to reach Hawaii.  I love my purse, it has been amazing and just what I wanted.  The earrings are to be gifted.  I was not familiar with magnetic polish, I was curious why it came with a ring.  I researched how to use it on YouTube.  Overall, I am glad I tried it.  I probably will be spontaneous with this subscription, glad for the skip option.

*all items in this review have been purchased by me and are my own opinion and thoughts.

March Julep Maven

Julep maven is a nail and makeup monthly subscription box.  This month the theme was the Riviera.  Two weeks before the box ships, you can keep with your selected preference (chosen by a quiz you take when you become a maven) or choose another box theme.

I was excited to see the pink box waiting for me on the top of the tower in the living room waiting for me.

This is my official first box as a maven.  Instead of my 'Classic with a Twist' box, which would have included two polishes and a lip gloss, I chose the March Modern Beauty box with no add ons.  I was excited to use it everyday.  It was nice to see a sweet piece of candy in my box.

I use to haves kit like this for years and was excited to see this as a choice.  This box included a Buff Lip Scrub and a Luxe Lip Conditioning Treatment.  The lip scrub has a nice smell.  I want to keep putting the conditioning treatment on because it smells like dessert.

UNPACKING IMPRESSION: I loved that I was given the option to pick out what I wanted in my box this month.  I could not have asked for anything better than this. It also helps that's paid $19.99 for this, when the retail value is over 40 dollars.  Get this duo for 35% off with code lip35.  I wish I added on a lip gloss, now that my lips are silky smooth, I can order a gloss with an extra 25% off with  gloss25.  If interested,FREEBOX can beset to you with the code FREEBOX.
